FOR OUR SUPERHEROES: ITEL MOBILE MAKES FATHERS’ AND FANS’ WISHES COME TRUE

In commemoration of this year’s Father’s Day, a special occasion dedicated to the celebration of father’s worldwide, itel mobile, a consumer driven brand and a global leader in providing everyday mobility solutions for their users also joined in the celebration of fathers and their unmentioned heroic deeds.

In a bid to fulfill the wishes of the brand’s loyal fans and their fathers, itel created a perfect avenue for familial bonding in a high-spirited way, which was chaired with a lot of celebration and communication of love.

itel started a 7 day online campaign tagged #WishForDad, making it a platform for people to drop their emotional comments and wishes for their fathers across the brand’s social media platforms – Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

itel’s Marketing Communications Manager, Oke Umurhohwo, explained that as a socially responsible organization, the father’s Day provided an opportunity for the company to celebrate all fathers as an expression of love and also to make an impact in their lives, because their contribution to the development of their children and families cannot be overlooked or taken for granted at all. Umurhohwo said:

“Father’s day is a special occasion that holds a significant value in every home, because every house needs a father to start and every child needs that man that would stand superhero strong for him or her when the need arises.

We strongly believe in promoting happiness and laughter by creating an opportunity to make special efforts to show appreciation for fathers and the pivotal role they play in homes.”

To ensure a seamless participation and selection of winners for the campaign, participants were directed to leave their comments on all itel’s social media posts across all social media platforms using  the hashtag #WishForDad, whilst they tag their family members and friends to increase their chances of been selected as part of the winners. At the end of the campaign, 10 fans were selected as winners; 5 fans on Facebook, 3 fans on Instagram and 2 fans on Twitter, after which their wishes were presented to them in gift form.
