Campus especially federal schools in the west of Nigeria is literally where everything goes down. It’s one of the few places where you are completely free to do whatever you want and get away with it. It’s also one of the places where you can get easily carried away and forget yourself. Well, I got your back -as always. Here are my top hacks for living an organised life on campus.
1. Sleep Early.
I know you would like to catch up on your instagram and snapchat feed, or that you’ll like to face-time with your sweetheart and get all deep and nasty. I am also very aware that night-time is more or less the only free time you have for yourself, but you need your sleep. Early to bed, early to rise. If you sleep early enough, you would wake up early enough and not snooze through your alarm the following morning. You also reduce the chances of oversleeping. Sleeping allows your body to rest and your brain to relax. You need to sleep, babe. At least for five hours.
2. Have a morning routine and stick to it.
Form some form of morning routine and follow it religiously till you can do it unconsciously (studies show that it takes 66 days to form a habit).
3. Do your assignments immediately you receive them.
This way, you avoid the risk of forgetting it completely or rushing it a couple of minutes to submission. If you rush, you would end up not giving it your best and possibly dub someone else’s work just to meet the deadline. Doing it immediately would save you a lot of stress. Do not procrastinate.
