Some people find them entertaining as hell, which is a clearly popular opinion considering the fact that their show is in its, like, millionth season. Some people think they are smart business people, which, considering the fact that they’ve built an empire despite not necessarily having any talent, has some truth to it. Finally, there are other people who really, really don’t like the Kardashian family. Of the people who don’t like the Kardashians, some of them just happen to be celebrities themselves.
It’s really rare to see a celebrity say something that is outright unflattering about another celebrity. To be political, they will generally say something veiled, as to not completely burn a bridge. However, when it comes to the Kardashians, some celebs don’t give a shit about bridges. They have straight up said some mean stuff about the family. Of course, being such a controversial family, the Kardashians may have expected this kind of harsh criticism.
Below are some of the nastiest comments fellow celebrities have made about the Kardashians because even in Tinseltown, not everyone is a fan of the reality TV royal family. At the end of the day, though, these insults that other celebrities have said about the family will not take away their 45 seasons of the show, millions of dollars and the empire they have built on the celebrity construct.
15. Amy Schumer
Amy Schumer had a great 2015. Her film, Trainwreck, was released to positive reviews and became a box-office hit. She also became besties with J Law so that’s pretty cool too. Oh, and she hosted SNL and totally trashed the Kardashians during her opening monologue in 2015.
Of course, the insults were delivered in a Schumer’s hilarious style, making the blows seem a little less hurtful. She questioned if the Kardashians are good role models for young women by saying, “Is that a great message for little girls, a whole family of women who take the faces they were born with as, like, a light suggestion?”
She went on to talk about Khloe‘s recent weight loss, stating that she used to be the one Kardashian who regular girls could relate to but then she went and lost a whole Kendall of body weight.
When asked about Schumer’s comments, Khloe responded: “I was more upset that someone claims they’re like a girl’s girl and that they’re all about women empowerment, and then she says that I’m not relatable because I’m not fat anymore.”
While Schumer’s opening was funny and hit on some important issues for young women in our society, there is also some truth to Khloe’s response.
