Celebrity breakups – Breakups happen every day. And it seems that in Hollywood they happen even faster, which is sort of understandable with the magnifying lens that is the media on them at all times. But there are some relationships we really care about, as if we know the couple, as if we have been there for all their ups and downs. Sometimes, we care more about these celebrity couples than people we do know in real life. And, when they breakup, it’s like they broke up with us too – the unseen third wheel of their relationship.

We take these breakups so hard because we put these people on a pedestal. We look at their relationships and model our own after them. We hope that we will find love like theirs. And, when they break up, we are lost. Here’s our list of breakups that we’re still not over. If these celebrity couples can’t make it work, who can?
12. Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron
This was one of those relationships that people just loved. After the two co-starred on the High School Musical movies, we also fell in love with them. They were so cute, just trying to figure out Hollywood together. They were everything you wanted from Disney Stars who dated in the early 2000s.
And then they split, and it broke the hearts of millennials all around the world. Oh, and it gave hope to those who lust after Efron (which is everyone, if I’m not mistaken).
While he has made comments about how he regrets doing the HSM films, I think we all know that, deep down, he treasures those memories and that time in his life. Also, we are all aware that he wouldn’t be the star that he is today without those movies, which is just a fact. Thankfully, he posted an old photo with Hudgens and other cast members, saying how he cherished that time in his life. And while this isn’t him addressing his undying devotion to Hudgens – it is a step in the right direction.
